To A daughter

To a daughter far away
You flew off to foreign shores, that winter’s day
I missed you more than words could say
You took my heart, that winter’s day
I gave it to you willingly.
But now my heart’s my own again
I didn’t miss it anyway
What’s more I’ve flown away to foreign shores
Well met were we that April Day
Reunited, a family once more
Love and millions of kisses xxx
