Food Diary

12th August 2013   

Morning

2 mugs tea each with 15 ml milk

2 cups lemon and ginger tea

1 x 5 ml cod liver oil

Porridge

  • Oats ½ cup and 1 ½ cups water
  • Cinnamon
  • Dates 2 oz
  • Apricots 1 ½ oz
  • Blueberries fresh ½ cup
  • Mango fresh, chopped 1 ½ cup
  • Banana 5 oz
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt
  •  Cocoa 1 tsp and ½ pint milk (1% fat)

Mid morning snack

  • 20 g dark chocolate
  • 20 g Brazil nuts
  • 15 g almonds
  • 20 g trail mix
  • 1 glass cocoa

Dinner

Sweet potato and celery soup

Eggs and tomatoes and courgette in a pan

Fresh pineapple ¼ with 20 mls evap milk

Cocoa 1 tsp and ½ pt milk

Bed time 1 mug camomile tea

13th August

 Morning

  • Apricots 20 gm
  • Blueberries ½ cup
  • Mango 1 cup
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt
  •  Cocoa 1 tsp cocoa
  • ½ pint milk (1% fat)

Mid morning snack

  • choc 20 g (72% cocoa)
  • 15 g almonds
  • 20 g brazil nuts
  • 20 g trail mix
  • 1 glass cranberry juice

[Before spinning class]

1 oz cheese (red)

2 gluten fre crackers

Dinner

Stir fry tofu and broccoli

Sweet potato and celery soup

  • 1 cup tofu and 5 oz broccoli
  • Sunflower oil
  • Soy sauce (reduced salt)
  • Pineapple and mango sliced fresh (1 ½ cups each)
  • Evaporated milk 20 ml
  • Cocoa 1 tsp cocoa and ½ pint milk (1%)

Bed time 1 x mug camomile tea

14th August

 Morning

1 mug hot water with squeeze of lime juice

2 large mugs tea (15 ml milk)

2 mugs lemon & ginger tea

  • ½ cup oats (gluten free) 1 ½ cups wqter
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Apricots 15 g
  • Dates 15g
  • ¼ mango
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt

1 mug cocoa (1 tsp cocoa ½ pint milk)

Mid morning snack

  • 20 g almonds
  • 15 g brazil nuts
  • 20 g trail mix
  • 1 glass cranberry juice

Mid afternoon

1 oz red cheese

3 sticks celery

3 crispbreads (gluten free)

1 mid afternoon tea (15 ml milk)

Sweet potato and celery soup

Chickpea and mushroom curry (recipe attached)

Sliced melon and mango

Evaporated milk 20 ml

1 mug cocoa (1 tsp cocoa ½ pint milk)

1 x mug camomile tea
