Exercise Diary 16 – 19 August

16 Aug
  • 20 min run on local park
  • Walk to town centre 1/2 hour
  • shopping
  • Walk Home 1/2 hour
  • Walk to Leisure Centre 20 mins
  • 3/4 hrs aqua-aerobics
  • Walk home 20 mins
17 Aug
  • walk to town centre 30 mins
  • Bus to park where Park Run is being held
  • run 5 km 35 mins
  • bus home
  • visiting friend, to local park and for a meal
  • bus and then walk home
18 Aug
  • 20 min run round local park
  • walk to town 30 mins, shopping then 30 mins walk back
19 Aug
  • 20 mins run round local park
  • walk into town 30 mins
  • bus to Leisure Centre
  • 1 hr pilates
  • bus to town, shopping, then bus home.
  • Walk to local leisure centre 20 mins
  • 3/4 aqua-aerobics
  • Walk home 20 mins
Have tried out the Park Run and found it very enjoyable, a good way to improve your running speed and stamina and to meet other runners.  They are run on a Saturday morning and organised and staffed by volunteers.  This is inclusive and welcomes runners of all ages and abilities, from children with their parents to the more mature runner.  The run I went to was well organised and I will definitely do two a month if I can.
