Food Diary from 19 August

19 August
  • 2 mugs tea (15 ml milk each)
  • 2 mugs lemon and ginger tea
  • porridge 1/2 cup oats 1.1/2 cups water 1 tsp cinnamon, 4 dates and 3 apricots chopped
  • (I usually leave this to soak overnight and cook in the morning, adding in the fresh fruit
  • 1/4 cup blueberries 6 strawberries chopped, 1 x 5 oz banana chopped
  •  2 tablespoons yogurt
  • The fruit depends on what I have been able to get from the local market and whatever I have left from other meals.
  • 1 mug cocoa 1 tsp cocoa and 1/2 pint milk
  • 20 g chocolate (72%) 1 oz brazil nuts and 1.1/2 oz almonds
  • leek and sweet potato soup
  • 1.1/2 oz cheddar cheese
  • 1 stick celery sliced.
  • potato, pepper and tomato stew
  • rice pudding left over from yesterday and with about 4 strawberries and several slices fresh mango
  • cocoa 1 tsp cocoa and 1/2 pint milk
  • 1 x mug camomile tea.

20 August

  • 2 x mugs tea (15 ml milk each)

  • 4 chopped dates
  • 3 chopped apricots
  • 6 strawberries
  • 3 – 4 slices fresh mango
  • 1 kiwi fruit peeled and chopped
  • 3 tablespoons yogurt
  • 1 x mug cocoa
  • 1 tsp cocoa /2 pint milk
  • 20 mg chocolate (72%)
  • 1oz almonds
  • 2 oz brazil nuts
  • 1 oz cheese and celery x  1 stick
  • 1 boiled egg and 3 slices toast
  • leek and sweet potato soup
  • mushroom and chick pea curry
  • sliced mango and 1 nectarine, peeled and sliced with 4 strawberries, chopped adding 5 ml evaporated milk (approx)
  • 1 x mug cocoa 1 tsp cocoa and 1/2 ping milk
  • 1 cup camomile tea
