Food Diary
- 4 mugs tea (2 x lemon and ginger)
- 1 tsp cod liver oil
- calcium and magnesium
- porridge 1/2 cup oats 1.1/2 cups milk
- sliced mango, strawberries and banana), greek style unsweetened yogurt.
A recipe adapted from the Times weekend supplement 13 April 2013, Cooking for kids, the Baby and Toddler cook book
1) place the fruit in a saucepan with 1 tsp clear honey and 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon and 2 tablespoons water. Place the fruit in the saucepan with the honey and water, bring to the boil, stir gently to combine over a medium heat until the fruit has a soft anda toffee like sauce has formed.
2) In a separate pan, bring the milk to the boil, remove from the heat, add the oats, stirring, then return to the heat, stirring continuously until the porridge thickens (about 5 mins)
Stir in 1/2 the fruit mix to the porridge and mix well, then ladle the fruity porridge into a warmed serving dish, spooning over the fruit. Top with greek style yogurt.

- 2 oz 70% cocoa choc
- 4 oz fruit and nuts
- Simple lentil soup (recipe to follow) with toast and grated cheese sprinkled on top

- Lentil soup
- 2 slices toast and cheese
- Vegetable gratin (recipe from Somerfield magazine)
- lemon scented rice pudding (recipes to follow)
- sliced fresh mango and evaporated milk
- cocoa as this morning
- 1 mug camomile tea
